Sugar Rush drops the idea of reels and paylines altogether. You play on a 7×7 grid of gummy bears, jelly beans and lollipops, and any cluster of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically pays out. Winning symbols explode, new candy tumbles in from above, and the chain keeps going until no cluster remains.

The twist that made the game famous is the multiplier spot. Every position where a win lands leaves a marker behind. Land another win on that same spot during the same spin sequence and its multiplier doubles: 2×, 4×, 8×, all the way up to 128×. Three or more scatters trigger free spins, and in that round the multiplier spots never reset, which is where the biggest wins are built.

Gates of Olympus is the slot that turned Zeus into a mascot. The 6×5 grid uses a pay-anywhere system: land eight or more of the same symbol anywhere on screen and it pays, no lines required. Winning symbols vanish and new ones tumble down, so a single spin can run through several waves of wins.

Zeus stands beside the reels and, at random, throws multiplier orbs onto the grid. Each orb carries a value between 2× and 500×. At the end of a tumble sequence every orb on screen is added together and applied to the total win of that sequence. Four scatters award 15 free spins, and in the bonus the multipliers accumulate across every spin instead of resetting, which is how the 5,000× cap gets reached.

Rich Wilde’s Egyptian expedition is the game that defined the whole “book” genre. Five reels, three rows and ten paylines keep the layout simple; the golden Book is both wild and scatter, substituting for every symbol while also opening the bonus round when three or more appear anywhere on the reels.

Three Books award ten free spins. Before they start, one regular symbol is chosen at random as the special expanding symbol.
